Please include:
- education
- honours, grants, and awards
- relevant positions, experiences, activities, and initiatives
- publications and projects
Please do not include personal pictures or indications of age, race, ethnic origin, or religious affiliation.
C. Please include a copy of your last relevant diploma or degree certificate.
D. Project Proposal with Abstract
Please write an abstract (about 1.000 characters) of your project proposal.
In your project proposal (no more than 10,000 characters in total), please indicate:
- the topic
- the questions, and goals of your project
- the methodology to be employed
- any preliminary work done
- a timetable of the planned form of publication (book publication, extended essay, exhibition, performance etc.).
Please describe how the project bears upon the focus Kippbilder / Multistable Figures of the core project Tension / Spannung and how you expect to contribute to an exchange with other fellows and benefit from it.
The proposal should demonstrate an interest to reflect upon the conceptual and intellectual basis of the project and to discuss it with fellows from various academic disciplines.
E. Work Samples
Please include a chapter from your book or dissertation, an article, work in progress, your portfolio, or some equivalent material or documentation. (No more than 50,000 characters or equivalent. Any of the following formats are acceptable: pdf, odt, doc, rtf, jpg, tiff, or audio/video formats rendered by standard web-browsers.)
Please make sure that your application is complete and send all the documents in one mail message of no more than 2 MB to application(at)ici-berlin.org.
If you cannot compress and reduce the size of your documents to this limit, please make your documents available through a web-site, indicating in your message the links to the documents to be considered for this application.
