ICI Affiliated Fellow Banu Karaca will give a talk on freedom of expression in the arts and culture and the current state of censorship in Turkey, Sunday, 11 June 2017, 19:00 at the Akademie der Künste, as part of a series on art and culture in Turkey, ‘You Want Kilims, But I Do Films’.
Karaca’s talk will be introduced by Kathrin Röggla, vice president of the academy, and followed by a discussion between Karaca and Röggla.
