Florian Rosenbauer has been in charge of ICI Berlin’s media and IT since 2008. He is managing internal and external IT infrastructure and developing IT services for staff, fellows, and the public. The Institute’s IT-strategic orientation and planning, as well as its IT security scheme are his foremost concerns. He is responsible for the constant advancement and further development of the web and server environment used by the ICI Berlin, and the relaunch of its website in 2016.

He developed (with Corinna Haas and Claudia Peppel) the Institute’s audio-visual documentation of its events, establishing the ICI Edition, first as a series published on DVD, then as streaming video on its website.

He studied media studies, linguistics and literature at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Deakin University Melbourne (Australia). He concluded his studies with an MA in media studies in 2006.
