Saori Kanemaki is the assistant librarian at the ICI Berlin. She supports the academic projects of the Institute’s staff and fellows, supplying literature and other documents.

After focusing on British cultural studies at Japan Women’s University, she studied musicology, media studies, and library and information science at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Her research interests involve the history of music in the 20th and 21st centuries as well as the contemporary reception of the Japanese court music Gagaku.
