Former ICI Fellow Xenia Chiaramonte, jurist and socio-legal scholar, has been awarded the highly prestigious five-year ERC Starting Grant to pursue her timely and urgent project entitled Social Defence. Uncovering the Transnational Epistemology of the Punitive Age, dedicated to the critical study of punishment.
