With the publication of its latest volume, the book series ‘Cultural Inquiry’ switches publishers. Its editors Christoph F. E. Holzhey and Manuele Gragnolati started the series in 2010 with the Vienna-based publisher Turia + Kant. After publishing fourteen volumes over the course of nine years with Turia + Kant, new titles in the series will now be published by ICI Berlin Press, both as open access online publication on the ICI website in the three most common electronic formats (html, pdf, epub) and as print-on-demand book with the global distribution this technology affords. The series editors would like to thank Turia + Kant and its publisher Ingo Vavra in particular for the effortless collaboration and the meticulous production of fourteen beautiful books, which continue to be available from Turia + Kant.
The new format greatly expands the reach of ICI publications, most importantly, of course, by making the institute’s work freely available online, through the ICI Repository and several other outlets, but also, through the use of print-on-demand technology, making sure that the print versions of its publications can be made available on several continents.
The series also invites submissions, in particular if the projects suggested intersect with the research and interests of the institute. Please consult the submission guidelines.
