Registration Formalities
Everybody who lives in Germany – whether a foreign national or German citizen – must register with his or her local registry office and provide an address within two weeks (registration certificate).

(The closest office to the ICI Berlin is the one in Pankow: Prenzlauer Berg.)
Required Documents
Please bring the following documents with you when you register at the administrative office (Bürgeramt):
- Application form “Anmeldung bei der Meldebehörde” available at the "Bürgeramt" or at http://www.berlin.de/formularserver/formular.php?52009
- Entry Visa (if required)
- Valid passport
- Your rental contract, lease or tenancy agreement
