The ICI Library is conceived of as a hybrid between a traditional book collection and a virtual library aimed to suit the particular needs of ICI Scholars. Our growing collection focuses on materials related to the ICI Core Project and ICI Events. According to ICI's inter- and transdisciplinary approach, the collection offers key works from Contemporary Philosophy, Psychoanalysis, Gender Studies, Postcolonial Theory, and Life Sciences. Complementing our own collection, we rely on resources from external libraries and institutions.
The entire collection is researchable in our Online Catalogue.
Although the resources and services of the ICI Library are primarly dedicated to the institution itself, students and researchers from other Higher Education institutions are allowed reference use of ICI print resources. Visitors should make an appointment via phone (+49 (0)30 473 7291 26) or e-mail (corinna.haas(at)ici-berlin.org) and bring their identity card. They are also allowed to order copies and scans (€ 0,07/page).
The ICI Library is open to Fellows at all times with the staff present Mon - Thurs 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Wed 10 a.m. - 5 p. m.
